1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern the relationship between The Tutors World (ASA) ('the Academy', 'we', 'us', or 'our') and students, parents, and guardians ('you', 'the student') who enrol in our coaching programs or access our website and digital services.

By enrolling in any program offered by The Tutors World or by using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not enrol or use our services.

2. About The Tutors World

The Tutors World (ASA) is a leading JEE/NEET/CET coaching institute in Pune, founded in 2003 by Sikander S.K. We offer coaching for:

• JEE (Main & Advanced) — Engineering entrance preparation
• NEET — Medical entrance preparation
• MHT-CET — Maharashtra Common Entrance Test preparation
• Board Exams — CBSE and State Board (Class VIII to XII)
• Foundation Programs — Class III to X including NTSE and Olympiad preparation
• Express Short-Term Programs — Crash courses and revision programs

3. Admissions & Enrolment

• Admission to The Tutors World is subject to availability of seats. The Academy maintains limited batch sizes to ensure quality and individual attention.
• Enrolment shall be deemed confirmed only upon submission of required documents and payment of the applicable course fee.
• The Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or cancel enrolment if any information provided during registration is found to be false or misleading.
• Students are enrolled based on their academic standing and the batch appropriate to their level.
• The Academy may conduct an initial assessment or screening test for placement in suitable batches.

4. Fee Structure & Payment

4.1 Payment Terms

• Course fees must be paid in advance as per the payment schedule communicated at the time of admission.
• Fees may be paid via cash, bank transfer, UPI, or other methods specified by the Academy.
• Official receipts will be issued for all payments made.
• The Academy reserves the right to revise fee structures with prior notice to enrolled students.

4.2 Refund Policy

• Fees paid are generally non-refundable once the course has commenced.
• In exceptional circumstances (medical emergency, relocation), a partial refund may be considered at the sole discretion of the Academy management.
• Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation within 15 days of the commencement of the course.
• Administrative and registration charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• No refund will be provided if a student is expelled for disciplinary reasons.

5. Academic Programs & Scheduling

• The Academy will conduct regular classes, doubt-clearing sessions, revision classes, and periodic tests as per the academic calendar communicated to students.
• Class schedules, timetables, and any changes will be communicated via WhatsApp, SMS, or the ASA Online App.
• The Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes due to public holidays, unforeseen circumstances, or force majeure events.
• Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Habitual absenteeism may result in removal from the program.
• The Academy offers Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) periodically to discuss student progress. Attendance by parents/guardians is strongly encouraged.

6. Student Code of Conduct

Students enrolled with The Tutors World are expected to:

• Attend classes regularly and on time
• Submit assignments, Daily Practice Papers (DPPs), and homework as directed by faculty
• Appear for all scheduled tests and examinations
• Maintain respectful and courteous behavior towards faculty, staff, and fellow students
• Refrain from using mobile phones during class sessions unless permitted by faculty
• Not engage in any form of cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty
• Abide by all rules and regulations of the Academy premises

The Academy reserves the right to suspend or expel any student found violating the code of conduct, without any refund of fees.

7. Study Materials & Intellectual Property

• All study materials, notes, practice papers, assignments, and digital content provided by The Tutors World are the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy.
• Students may use these materials solely for their personal academic preparation.
• Reproduction, distribution, uploading, or commercial use of any Academy materials without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
• Students must not share login credentials or Academy content from the ASA Online App with any third party.

8. Digital Services & ASA Online App

• The ASA Online App is provided as a supplementary educational tool for enrolled students.
• Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• The Academy is not responsible for any loss of data due to technical issues or device failure.
• The Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any digital feature or service with or without notice.
• Unauthorized use, hacking, or misuse of the digital platform may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

9. Performance & Results

The Tutors World is committed to providing quality education; however:

• The Academy does not guarantee specific exam results, ranks, or college admissions.
• Academic outcomes depend significantly on the student's own effort, dedication, and consistency.
• Test results and performance reports are shared with the student and parent/guardian for monitoring progress.
• The Academy shall not be liable for any outcome in external competitive examinations.

10. Grievance Redressal

Students or parents with grievances regarding academic matters, faculty behavior, or administrative issues may:

• Approach the Academy administration directly during working hours
• Submit a written complaint to the Director
• Email their concerns to sikanders007@gmail.com

The Academy will make reasonable efforts to address grievances within 7–10 working days.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Tutors World shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services
• Loss of data, results, or expected academic outcomes
• Any injury or loss occurring on the premises due to the student's own negligence
• Disruption of services due to force majeure events including natural disasters, pandemics, power failures, or government orders

12. Photography & Media Consent

By enrolling, you grant The Tutors World permission to use photographs, videos, and testimonials of students (including those appearing in group photos) for promotional and marketing purposes, including on the website and social media. If you do not wish to provide this consent, please notify us in writing at the time of enrolment.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

14. Amendments to Terms

The Tutors World reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and, where significant, communicated to enrolled students and parents. Continued enrolment or use of services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
